Since debuting as a member of the music group Blackpink in 2016, Lisa—real name Lalisa Manobal—has carved out a unique space for herself across the creative industries. In music, where she first began, she broke records with Blackpink, then as a solo artist with her album Lalisa and its lead single “Money”, which became the first album and song by a K-pop solo artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify, respectively.
Of course, success in the world of style followed. Lisa has been a trend setter as her career followed its upward trajectory. Marked by her own strong vision, now the artist has been announced as the latest house ambassador of Louis Vuitton.
Hordes of crowds follow Lisa wherever she goes. Whether that be outside her concerts, or during her appearances on the front row at fashion weeks across the globe. At a surprise appearance during the autumn/winter ’24/’35 show in March this year, Lisa arrived at Nicolas Ghesquière’s 10-year anniversary show wearing two pieces from Ghesquière’s archive with the French brand—a teaser? Or proof of her longtime affinity for the label. No doubt a healthy combination of both.

The announcement joins the news that Lisa will also be making her on-screen debut in the HBO series The White Lotus, signing on for the third season that is set in Thailand and due to release next year.
Lisa will join a host of female brand ambassadors at Louis Vuitton. A-list names that include Zendaya, Emma Stone, Ana de Armas, and many more.
